The Face of Media (TFM) is a podcast that seeks to rediscover the value and diversity of Portland Oregon media. Hosted and produced by Bret Bernhoft, TFM is an audio program designed for those who are curious about what Portland’s media is and can do. With interviews being primarily local, The Face of Media seeks to evangelize voices near the core subject. However, this does not exclude national voices and their view of what Portland can do.

There are three objectives for this podcast to achieve.

1. The first goal is to interview a wide selection of media outlets in Portland, whether new or old.
2. The second goal is to create an accurate definition of what Portland Oregon media is in this moment.
3. The final goal is to create an opportunity for the media to describe itself.
